Niall Horan: "I Haven't Left The House During One Direction Break"

The 'Gotta Be You' star attended a golf event in Ireland yesterday, but said he had been enjoying time at home.

Niall Horan has admitted that he has tried to keep a low profile during One Direction's current break.

The group have had a few days off this week as they prepare to release their new single 'Live While We're Young' later this month.

Although Harry Styles has been pictured out and about in London, Niall said he has been enjoying the downtime at his home in the capital.

"I just sit on the couch – like I've done for the past three or four days in London," he told the Daily Record.

"I only left the house once to go and buy a bottle of water. I just sat there, playing my guitar, putting my feet on the table and watching television."

Niall Horan says he has been enjoying some time off at his home in London:

The singer, who celebrated his 19th birthday this week, added: "The other boys, they like to get out. But because our lives are running at 1000mph, I try to bring it back down. When I have time off, all I want to do is do nothing."

But Niall did step out of his house yesterday (13th September) to go and play golf at a charity event in Ireland, which was co-hosted by Boyzone's Keith Duffy.

One Direction's new single 'Live While We're Young' is released later this month and is the first to be taken from their second album 'Take Me Home'.
