The 'Gotta Be You' star has attracted bids around £50,000 for his sports car.

One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has caused a bidding war on Ebay after he reportedly put his Porsche car up for auction.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer has attracted bids in the region of £50,000 according to The Sun with some potential buyers looking to snap up the motor as a present for their daughters.

"One rich daddy got in touch saying he wanted to buy it for his daughter. He's had a private bid of £50k already," a source told the publication.

The starting bid is currently at £30,000 with seven days remaining on the auction.

The singer was recently spotted shopping in London where he spied over a copy of a book from fellow boy band The Wanted.

Bandmates Liam Payne and Niall Horan also surprised fans with an impromptu acoustic performance in Shepherd's Bush yesterday (2nd August) afternoon when they were spotted busking in the Westfield shopping centre.

The group are also currently working on their new studio album and are up for a series of awards at this year's MTV VMAs including Best New Artist.

The group will also take to the stage at the Staples Center for a special performance on the night with Alicia Keys as the other confirmed performer.
