Those One Direction boys know exactly what their fans want to see… and have no problems playing up to the home crowd either!

The ‘Drag Me Down’ four-piece had the Philadelphia crowd in the palm of their hand when they broke out the Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air theme song as a surprise cover during their tour set in the city yesterday (1st September).

The boys are known to love the song - having covered it live on stage before - but thought it was apt to crack this one out due to track’s opening line, “In West Philadelphia born and raised.”

Niall took lead vocals on this one (natch), with back-up from the rest of One Direction as his hype men… and the Directioners lapped up every minute of the impromptu cover.

One Direction are currently taking their ‘On The Road Again’ world tour across North America, in the wake of news they’re planning to take a hiatus from March next year after the launch of their next album.
