The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers cover big names including Black Eyed Peas and Gym Class Heroes in their new touring set list.

One Direction surprised fans present at their 'Up All Night' tour launch in Wolverhampton last night (21st December) by performing covers from artists like Black Eyed Peas and Kings of Leon.

The five-piece boy band opened their set with several tracks from their debut album before each taking it in turns to sing for a medley of songs.

Zayn Malik began with a rendition of Black Eyed Peas' 'I Gotta Feeling' before passing the spotlight onto Niall Horan who belted out Gym Class Heroes' recent hit 'Stereo Hearts' featuring Adam Levine.

Louis Tomlinson covered the Amy Winehouse version of 'Valerie' while Liam Payne and Harry Styles shared the stage for a cover of Natalie Imbruglia's hit 'Torn', which One Direction previously performed during their time on The X Factor.

Later on in the set the 'Gotta Be You' singers surprised fans again when they launched into a cover of Kings of Leon single 'Use Somebody'.

One Direction continue their 'Up All Night' tour tonight (22nd December) with a performance at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, and have 19 further dates scheduled through to the end of January 2012.
