Nicki Minaj Wows In Figure Hugging Outfit At Season Premiere Of New American Idol Series

The 'Starships' rapper wore a typically eye-catching outfit as she joined the rest of the judging panel for the event.
Nicki Minaj wowed on the blue carpet as she joined the rest of the American Idol judging panel for the season premiere screening of the show in Los Angeles yesterday (9th January).
The 'Pound The Alarm' star wore a neon pink and yellow figure hugging outfit and capped off her colourful dress with a pair of checkered high-heels and a diamond encrusted watch.
The judges all spoke at the event about what drew them to appearing on the show as they answered questions in a press conference during the showing.
Nicki said any initial doubts she had were put to rest during a conversation with Lil Wayne.
"I keep saying it was something that wasn't expected of me to do, so I always kind of like to do the thing that [people] wouldn't believe I would do," she said.
The star admitted Wayne told her to "absolutely do it" and claimed her concerns were then at "peace".
Nicki's turbulent relationship with Mariah Carey has continued to build anticipation for the new series and Keith Urban said he just loves being a part of the "unpredictability".

"It's this dysfunctional family you see before you, I love being a part of," he said. "I love the unpredictability of every day on the set."
The new series of American Idol will premiere later this month and Nicki arrived shortly after promoting her Pink Friday fragrance in Sydney.
The 'Moment 4 Life' star also recently revealed that she has plans to launch the perfume in the UK in Spring and teased a "special surprise".
