Maroon 5's Adam Levine Snubs MTV VMAs

Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine has made a public rant to the MTV VMAs organisers on his official Twitter account.

The singer who earlier confirmed he would not be attending the event tweeted:

"The VMAs are the one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I'm drawing a line in the sand. F--k you, VMAs."

Despite the release of a brand new album last year Maroon 5 failed to pick up any nominations at this year’s event.

Here in the UK the band’s collaboration with Christina Aguilera on 'Moves Like Jagger' spends yet another week in the Top 3 of the Vodafone Big Top 40 Chart.

The MTV VMAs are this Sunday and you can watch the show on MTV UK Monday, 9pm. Keep it Capital for all the latest from the event.
