The 'Marry The Night' singer says boyfriends are usually jealous of her creative mind.

Lady Gaga says it's difficult for her to find the right man because they are often intimidated by her creativity.

The 'Born This Way' singer says her relationships always end badly because boyfriends start to get jealous of her talent.

"I have this effect on people where it starts out good," Gaga explained to Vanity Fair magazine. "When I'm in these relationships with people who are also creative, what happens is the attraction is initially there and it's all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me.

"If I go to the piano and write a quick song and play it back, they are angry with how fast and effortless it is. That's who I am and I don't apologise for it."

"I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think that what intimidates them is not my purse; it's my mind."

The 'You & I' singer reveals that, since rising to fame over the past few years, she now feels obligated consider the opinion of her fans when struggling with romance.

"When I fight with someone I'm in a relationship with, I think, 'What would my fans think they knew this was happening? How would they feel about my work and about me as a female if they knew I was allowing this to go on?' And then I get out."

Lady Gaga added that on a number of occasions her ex-boyfriends have tried to come back and propose marriage.

She added: "How f**kin' romantic you a**hole. Sure, pop a ring on my finger and make it all better. I can buy myself a f**kin' ring."

Lady Gaga has confirmed she will premiere the music video for new single 'Marry The Night' on 1st December.
