Katy Perry And Lady Gaga Sat Next To Each Other At MTV Video Music Awards 2013?

The 'Part Of Me' singer is said to have been seated next to fellow pop icon Gaga at the awards show.

Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are expected to be sat next to each other at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 this weekend after the Barclays Center shared a picture of their faces marked on adjacent seats.

'You & I' singer Lady Gaga and Katy both released their comeback singles within a week of each other earlier this month, and the VMAs 2013 will reportedly see the two pop stars watching the show together.

Both acts are also set to perform at the show this Sunday (25th August), at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the New York City venue posted a picture of the seating arrangements leading Twitter to speculate about whether or not they were joking.

Despite their fans seemingly engaging in a war of words over the single releases both Lady Gaga and Katy Perry tweeted each other two weeks ago to show there was no rivalry over the releases of 'Roar' and 'Applause'.
