The 'Boyfriend' star's latest release 'Believe Acoustic' has helped him reach a new chart milestone.

Justin Bieber has made US chart history after becoming the first artist ever to score five number one albums before the age of 19.

The 'Beauty And A Beat' singer released his new record 'Believe Acoustic' this week, and it was announced on Wednesday (6th February) that the album has topped the Billboard Top 200 chart with 211,000 copies sold in its first week according to Nielsen Soundscan.

The achievement makes Justin a record-breaking artist, as well as the tenth act ever to score number one albums over four consecutive years.

"WE did it! #HISTORY - thank u. #BELIEVEacoustic is the #1 selling album in the WORLD and OUR fifth #1! First time ever! OUR ALBUMS! thank u," Justin tweeted after hearing news of the chart milestone.

Earlier this week the 'Boyfriend' singer made an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon where he memorably kissed a female mannequin head during one particular comedy sketch on the US chatshow.

Justin Bieber is now preparing to make his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live for the show this coming weekend (9th February).
