Ed Sheeran Promises New Music By January 2014 And Confirms UK Return

The 'A Team' singer is hard at work on his second album and will be releasing new songs by the start of next year.

Ed Sheeran has promised fans they will finally get to hear new music from him in January.

The 'Lego House singer, who has been working hard on his new album for some time now, made the revelation to fans on Twitter in a question and answer session this week.

"@edsheeran when can we expect new songs?" one fan tweeted to the 'A Team' star, to which he simply replied: "@Olive_Rose69 January."

The UK singer-songwriter also confirmed he will be returning from America soon, where he is out on tour with Taylor Swift, and says he has no plans to reside there permanently.

"@edsheeran you're not living in America forever are you ed?" another fan tweeted, with Ed's response being: "@helerrrn definitely not."

Earlier this month Ed was confirmed to have joined the line-up for the Stephen Lawrence charity concert at the O2 Arena on 29th September, alongside stars like Jessie J, Emeli Sande and Tinie Tempah.

Ed Sheeran previously promised his new album is likely to be out by February next year.
