Gotye is looking secure his first number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40 chart this weekend with new single 'Somebody That I Used To Know'.
The Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter climbed to number two on Sunday (5th February) just behind David Guetta's 'Titanium', which is currently spending its second week at the top of the chart.
Sunday saw a promising new entry with will.i.am's 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)' finding itself at number six, and the Black Eyed Peas rapper is undoubtedly hoping to score his first solo number one this weekend.
DJ Fresh will release his new single 'Hot Right Now' on Sunday (12th February), and could replicate the success of previous release 'Louder', which shot straight to the top of the chart back in 2011.
One Direction are also due to officially release 'One Thing' this weekend along with previously unheard B Side single 'I Should Have Kissed You', which could also find itself inside the Vodafone Big Top 40 top ten.
