Cheryl Cole Supports Kimberley At Shrek The Musical

Cheryl cheers on Kimberley as she makes her West End debut as Princess Fiona.

Cheryl Cole joined her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh in London last night (5th October) on the red carpet for the opening night of Shrek The Musical.

Kimberely made her West End debut performance as Princess Fiona in the play at Drury Lane Theatre while the former The X Factor judge watched from a box close to the stage.

Cheryl, who turned up in a black and white fitted dress with a Shakespeare ruff-styled collar, tweeted her excitement and posted a photo of the pair backstage with the caption: "Me and my Princess Fiona."

Following the show she also added: "Kimberley absolutely killed it, what a great show."

Kimberley replaced Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden on the show after she became pregnant.

Cheryl recently told Capital the pair went shopping in New York in between recording sessions for her new album.
