Britney Spears To Receive New Glee Tribute Episode For Fourth Season

The 'Toxic' singer will have several songs covered in an forthcoming episode of the popular TV series.

Britney Spears will reportedly be the focus of a brand new tribute episode of FOX musical comedy Glee.

The 'Criminal' singer first featured as a tribute artist in the 2010 Glee episode Britney/Brittany, creator Ryan Murphy is said to be planning a second tribute for the show's upcoming fourth season.

According to EW, the second episode of season four will feature covers of eight Britney Spears songs, but is not currently set to feature a cameo appearance by the 'I Wanna Go' singer like the show's previous tribute episode.

On Monday Britney Spears was announced in the new judging line-up of The X Factor USA, alongside Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato, which is set to launch later this year.

Glee is set to wrap its third season on 22nd May with a fourth season expected to launch this Autumn.
