Man Dies Following Reported Assault

A 35-year-old man who suffered life-threatening injuries following an alleged assault in Askern has died in hospital.
Emergency services were called at around 1.20am on Monday 30 May to High Street, Askern, following reports a man had been seriously assaulted outside the White Hart pub.
He was taken to hospital where he remained in critical condition until he died earlier this week (Monday 6 June).
He has been named as Darron Januszkiewicz (pictured), a local man who leaves behind a wife and two small children.
James Harvey, 34, of Park Road, Askern, was charged with Section 20 wounding in connection with the incident.
