Man Charged Over Sheffield Girls murder

A man has been charged and remanded into custody, charged with murdering a little girl in Sheffield.

30 year old Delroy Catwell, was arrested after an ambulance was called to an address in Beck Road, Shiregreen, Sheffield, on Friday evening.

The girl was taken to the city's Children's Hospital where she died in the early hours of Saturday.

Catwell, of Beck Road, Shiregreen, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court for a two-minute hearing.

He was remanded in custody and will appear before Sheffield Crown Court on February 18.
