V Festival On Air Competition
Full terms & conditions.
RULES
The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Win V Festival 2015 Tickets’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Monday 17th August 2015 to Thursday 20th August 2015 on Capital Network (the “Radio Station”).
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the ON AIR Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must:
4. Send a text message with the keyword WIN to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”).
5. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.
6. The Text Message Line will open and close as directed on air by the on air presenters.
7. Entrants will be asked to text in, and as highlighted on air.
8. Entrants will have the duration of the third song featured in that round’s ‘V LIST’ to enter the competition.
9. From all correct Entrants, one Entrant will be randomly selected, brought to air and asked to correctly identify the 3 featured V Festival artists to win.
10. The winner will be notified and awarded their prize on air.
Eligibility:
11. Entrants must be 18 years of age, or older.
Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition
Prize:
12. One Pair of Tickets to the V Festival on the 22nd & 23rd August 2015 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford.
Prize Terms and Conditions:
- The prize will be fulfilled within 10 working days.
- One pair of general admission. No accommodation or travel is included in this prize.
- It is the winner’s responsibility to get to the venue in time for the event.
- Tickets are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
- By being present at the Event you consent to being filmed and/or recorded. You also agree not to assert any moral (or similar) rights and give all necessary consents under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended) and all other applicable legislation in respect of any film and/or recordings. Please note that BAL is entitled to make full use of any film and/or recording in all current and future media worldwide without any liability or payment to you, including permitting others to do the same.
- Any person who purchases, holds or uses a Ticket (“Ticket Holder”) acknowledges and agrees that he or she is subject to these Conditions and to the Venue Conditions.
- If a Ticket is declared void or if a Ticket Holder is refused admission to or removed from the Event because of a breach of these Conditions or of the Venue Conditions, no money shall be refunded to the Ticket Holder.
- All persons who wish to gain access to the Event must have a valid Ticket.
- Neither the Ticket Holder nor any other person is entitled to assign, donate, transfer or otherwise dispose of any rights arising from the Ticket, or the Ticket itself, to any third party, including, without limitation, if the transferee does or intends to:
(a) sell, resell, expose, offer or make available for sale, auction, donate or otherwise dispose of Ticket(s) in any manner or place whatsoever, including, without limitation, online via an online auction website; and/or
(b) transfer or use such rights or a Ticket as part of or for any unauthorised:
(i) advertising, sales or promotional purposes;
(ii) premium give-away, competition, prize draw or sweepstake; or
(iii) hospitality or travel package.
- In the event of a conflict between the Conditions and the Venue Conditions, the Conditions shall prevail.
- Global Radio reserves the right to change the line up of the event and substitute any part of the prize at any time.
- Travel and accommodation are not included in this prize.
