TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Charities ("Global Charities") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.makesomenoise.com/terms-conditions/ ) apply to the ‘Global’s Make Some Noise Text Competitions’ ("the Competition") which will run Sunday 4th October 2015 at 7pm to Tuesday 6th October 2015 at 11:30pm (“the Duration”).
2. The "Radio Station" advertising the competition is Capital Network.
3. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from Global Charities.
Details of the Competition:
4. To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the word SUMMER to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rate. If you text after the closing time you will not be entered but may still be charged. The Text Message Line will open at 7pm on Sunday 4th October 2015 (the “Opening Time”) and close at 11:30pm on Tuesday 6th October 2015 (the “Closing Time”).
5. After entering the Competition, participants will receive a bounceback text message informing them that a voluntary donation to Global’s Make Some Noise (registered charity 1091657 (England & Wales) & SC041475 (Scotland)) of £3 will be taken automatically an hour (60 minutes) after the time the first text was received, unless they reply with the word STOP. The £3 donation will be taken from the mobile phone used to enter the Competition and 100% of the donation will go to Global’s Make Some Noise.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, you do not need to donate in order to be eligible for entry to the competition. Anyone who replies STOP to the first bounceback message and thereby opts out of donating £3 to Global’s Make Some Noise will still be included in the prize draw.
7. After the closing time a random draw will take place of all eligible entries received between the Opening Time and the Closing Time to determine the winner. All winners will be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the entrant fails to answer their phone, are driving, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during these calls and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another contestant will be selected at random. The producer’s decision is final.
8. The winner will be notified that they have won using the number of the phone that their text entry was sent from. The winner may be required to answer their phone, talk to the presenter/s and a call recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. 
Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted.
Eligibility:
9. You must be over 18 to enter the Competition.
10. Entry is restricted to ten entries per mobile number. Additional entries will not be counted but may still be charged.
Prize:
11. The prize consists of the opportunity for the winner plus two friends to join Capital’s Max at a secret central London location on Thursday 8th October. They will watch Max interview 5SOS, plus there will be an opportunity for them to meet the band and listen to the brand new single before it gets released.
- This prize is for a maximum of 3 people on Thursday 8th October 2015 at a central London location to be confirmed with the winner.
- One person must be over 18.
- The winner must make their own way to the central London location in time for 5 Seconds Of Summer’s visit at their own expense.
- The winner will be a guest of Capital, watching the band be interviewed for broadcast later that evening.
- The winner will be given the opportunity to meet the band and have a photograph taken with them.
- The winner will be given the opportunity to hear the new 5 Seconds Of Summer single, ahead of release. Mobile phones and any recording device will be surrendered to Capital ahead of this playback to ensure the security of the single.
- The winner will be accompanied by a member of Capital staff at all times and the entire experience will last no longer than 60 minutes.
- The winner and their guests will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement around the contents of the interview and single.
- Global takes no responsibility for artist delay and cancellation. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to change the date and substitute with another date.
- The content of the prize may be subject to change and/or substituted with a prize of equal or greater value.
- Global expects the winner to act in a professional manner at all times and should not engage in practices which would bring the company into disrepute.
- Global reserves the right to refuse admission should the winners be not considered in a fit state to be in a broadcast environment.
- All travel, meals and incidentals to be paid for by the winner.
- We require winner name, contact number, postal address and email to facilitate the prize.
- Not for resale and no cash alternative. This is a charity auction and as such no refunds are given.

12. No substitute prizes or cash alternatives are available.
13. The prize is non transferable.
