DEPOT Live - Competition Rules

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Communicorp UK ("Communicorp UK ") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at capitalfm.com apply to the Depot Live competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 13th May 2024 – Friday 17th May 2024 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital South Wales.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available online and on request from the Radio Station website.
Details of the Competition:
To enter the Promotion, you must listen to the Capital South Wales between 1600 and 1900 during the week of May 13th, 2024, and when prompted by the presenter(s), text the competition line (the ‘Text Message Line).
The opening and closing times of the competition will be given out on air. Once the lines have closed, one caller will be selected at random.
You must answer the phone with the phrase: ‘Capital! Get Me To The Gig’ (the “Winning Phrase”). For the avoidance of doubt, this must be the phrase that you say first as soon as you answer the phone. The producer’s decision is final, and we will not be obliged to enter any correspondence in the event of a dispute.
If you do not answer your phone, attempts to call you go to voicemail, you answer the phone without the Winning Phrase or answer with an incorrect version of the Winning Phrase, or the call is terminated, the prize available in that round will not be won. Instead, it will be rolled over to the next round.
The total prize pot will grow with the prizes below until a randomly selected entrant answers the phone with Winning Phrase and wins the total prize. The prize will then be reset to the corresponding prize on the below for any Promotion rounds that immediately follow.
During the final round of the Promotion on Friday 17th April 2024, the prize for that round cannot roll over and must be won by one entrant from the pool of entries into the round. In this case, an entry will be selected at random. If the randomly selected entrant does not answer their phone with the correct Winning Phrase, another entry will be selected at random. This process will continue until an entrant successfully answers their phone with the correct Winning Phrase and a winning entrant is awarded.
For the avoidance of doubt, if we call you, we offer no guarantee of how this will display on your phone. A handset could display a number, it could show ‘unknown’, ‘withheld’, or display in any other way.
The producer’s decision is final. If the entrant is ineligible, we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another entrant, as applicable.
We are not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, which may delay phone calls to and/or from us.Texts will be charged at standard network rates. If you are not the bill payer, you must obtain the bill payer’s permission before entering.
The call will be recorded and may be broadcast on air.
Eligibility:
Entries is limited to one text per day of the promotion.
Entry is restricted to people aged 18 or older.
Entrants must reside in South Wales.

Tuesday 14th May – 1x pair of VIP tickets to Depot In The Castle on July 27th 2024
Wednesday 15th May – 1x pair of VIP tickets to Fisher at Cardiff Castle on June 8th 2024
Thursday 16th May – 1x pair of VIP tickets to JLS at Cardiff Castle on July 7th 2024
Friday 17th May – 1x pair of VIP tickets to Avril Lavigne at Cardiff Castle on July 2nd 2024
