Southampton: Serious Injury Road Collision Involving 9-Year-Old

Police are calling for witnesses to come forward following a collision involving a 9-year-old boy on his BMX.

The boy was riding a red BMX bike on James Street in Southampton when the collision happened with a silver Vauxhall Corsa at 4.15pm on Thursday, September 18.

He was taken to Southampton General Hospital with head injuries. His condition is described at critical but stable.

The driver, an 18-year-old local man, was uninjured.
