Men Charged Over Frankie And Benny Break-In

Three people have been charged after a commercial burglary in Eastleigh at Frankie & Benny's restaurant in the Swan Centre.

Thieves broke in through the roof and took a large quantity of alcohol sometime between midnight and 7.20am on Sunday, October 2.

Quick investigative work carried out by officers led to the some suspects being identified from CCTV.

Three arrests were made quickly and most of the stolen property recovered at various locations.

Matthew Seabrooke, 18, from Southampton Road, Eastleigh and a 17-year-old boy from the town were both charged with burglary.

Anthony Cardy, 23, from a Southampton Road, Eastleigh was charged with handling stolen goods.

The youth will appear before Southampton Youth court on October 13 and the two men before the citys magistrates court on October 19.
