Twelve men have been arrested after a fight at a Butlins holiday park.
Trouble is believed to have flared after a group of people were thrown out of a nightclub on the site of the Bognor Regis park in West Sussex.
Six people, including four members of staff, were taken to hospital following the incident at around 12.20am on Saturday, Sussex Police said.
The injuries sustained included facial and chest injuries. None of the other guests are understood to have been involved in the disturbance, police added.
Chief Inspector Jane Derrick, of Sussex Police, said:
''We believe a fight broke out after a group of people, who were at the resort together, were ejected from a nightclub on the site.
''As a result, six people were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries. Four of these people were staff at the resort. The other two people were members of the group who were also arrested.
''We do not believe any of the other guests at Butlins were involved in the incident.
''We are still trying to piece together exactly what happened and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the fight.
''We believe that some of those who witnessed the incident are no longer in the Bognor Regis area and we would encourage them to contact police.
''Officers are in the area talking to residents at Butlins and working closely with the management at the holiday park to fully identify the chain of events which led to the incident.''
The 12 arrested were men aged between 25 and 37, all understood to be from Gravesend in Kent.
They were held on suspicion of offences including GBH and violent disorder and bailed to dates later this month.
Police appealed for anyone with information to call them on 0845 6070 999, quoting Operation Marine, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
