Armed Robbers Attack Men In Southampton Home

Police in Southampton are appealing for witnesses after two men were attacked by burglars armed with a knife.

The men managed to enter the house in The Dell, Southampton and threatened the two 22-year-old men inside with a knife.

They demanded that they opened a safe that was in the house and stole around £1000 from it along with an IPhone 4. The money was to pay the rent on the property.

During the offence both men received minor injuries caused by the burglars with the knife. They were both treated at Southampton Hospital but have since been released.

The burglars are described as all being in their mid 20s.

Man 1: Had a pencil thin ginger moustache and goatee beard, approx 5ft 9 inches tall and of medium build. Grey hooded top pulled up over head. This man had the knife and committed the assaults.

Man 2: Lanky build, over 6ft tall, navy blue zip up hoodie, pulled tight around his face with strings. Dark denim tightish jeans..

Man 3: Over 6ft, bigger build than man 2, stubble, wearing a navy zip up hoodie pulled up over his head with a pattern across front.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around 3am on Thursday, June 28 when the incident happened to contact them.
