Young Man's Death Treated As Unexplained

A young man's died after he was found hurt on a street in South Lanarkshire.

The 24 year-old was discovered on Lochranza Drive in East Kilbride early on Saturday morning.

Police are treating it as unexplained.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: ''Emergency services attended but the man died a short time later.

''A post-mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death which police are currently treating as unexplained.

''A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
