A deaf woman who disappeared after leaving a Glasgow nightclub has been spotted on CCTV at the Broomielaw near the River Clyde.
Kirsty Aitchison, 30, from the Robroyston area of the city, has not been in contact with friends or family since she left Campus bar in Sauchiehall Street at about 3am on Sunday.
She was on a night-out with friends and police say her subsequent disappearance is "completely out of character''.
Police have been reviewing CCTV images as part of their efforts to trace the missing woman, allowing them to account for some of Ms Aitchison's movements after she left the bar.
She made her way down Sauchiehall Street, on to Argyle Street and James Watt Street, before getting to the Broomielaw. She was last seen walking there at 3.16am.
Police are appealing for anyone with information on her whereabouts to get in touch.
Members of the public have also been sharing information on social media and voicing hope that she is found safe and well.
Ms Aitchison, who uses British Sign Language, is white, about 5ft, slim and with long dark hair.
When last seen in the CCTV pictures, she was wearing a black top and cream skirt, and is seen holding her high-heeled black sandals and walking barefoot.
Inspector Leigh McManus said: "We have managed to track her route from Sauchiehall Street down to Argyle Street and then on to the Broomielaw at the River Clyde.
"From CCTV we can see that Kirsty had taken her shoes off and was walking quickly and with purpose.
"There is no suggestion that Kirsty entered a taxi or any vehicle, although we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen her walking down to the Broomielaw and then crossing over the road.
"Indeed, we are looking for people to get in contact if they know where she may have then gone.
"Officers are carrying out enquiries in the city centre and the public are urged to approach them with any concerns.''
Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with officers at Shettleston police office through the 101 number or via the email@example.com dedicated email address.
