Four people have been arrested in connection with disorder at the Celtic versus Ajax match in Glasgow.
Police said the men would be reported to the procurator fiscal over alleged minor public order offences in or around Celtic Park on Thursday night.
One arrest came before the match, two during and the other after.
Celtic lost the Europa League clash 2-1 to the Dutch side, ending their hopes of progressing in the competition.
Police Scotland confirmed four men were seriously assaulted during a disturbance in the nearby Gallowgate area at about 7pm which also resulted in a number of bars being damaged.
The injured men were aged 52, 37, 27 and 25, and were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for serious face or head injuries.
Two of them are still being treated at the hospital, where staff describe their condition as stable.
Three other men sustained minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.
Detective Inspector Colin Hailstones said: "We are still at the early stages of this inquiry and would appeal to anyone who was in the area, who has mobile phone footage or any information that will help us with our inquiries to come forward to police.
"It would appear that this disturbance took place when a large group of men, described as being dressed in black with hoods and scarves covering their faces, tried to gain access to some of the pubs in the Gallowgate and started to challenge patrons within.
"This then developed and people spilled on to the street where the assaults took place.
"We have been checking CCTV in the area and have already spoken to people who were there at the time as part of the investigation for which there is a dedicated team off officers involved.
"People may think they have got away with it, but just because you may not have been arrested at the time doesn't mean you won't be identified and caught.''
