Greg Burns
Greg even featured in the Christmas special of 'The Office'!
He is now one of the most sought after stand-up comics in London. A few years before joining Capital he was a warm-up comic, getting the audiences going for shows such as 'Have I Got News For You', 'Room 101' and 'The Catherine Tate Show'. He claims to spend a lot of his time (when not DJ'ing) as Margherita Taylor's hairdresser....

When Greg's not styling hair, he's probably hosting one of our Capitalive gigs. He's hosted gigs from the likes of Scouting For Girls, The Kooks, Adele, The Feeling and Estelle.
You can see all the pics from our Capitalive: Summer Tour series of gigs here>>

Life at Capital...
What's the best thing about having your own show on Capital? It's a childhood dream. I did work experience here and still have a mug and bag I bought from Capital reception when it was in Euston Tower.
Life in London...
What's your favourite London place? The Comedy Store , My balcony (I'm lucky enough to have a view of The Thames) the steam room in my gym (go most days before my show).
Favourite drinking hole in London? (I've spent longer on this than any other question) Prob one by the river in Richmond but I like all “proper” pubs. If they have a pool table, a jukebox and random old drunk man at the bar, they’re ok by me.
Favourite place to get away from it all in town: Primrose Hill.
Favourite thing to do in London: I love getting the little Riverboat taxi home from the Embankment, in the Summer especially, it's a perfect end to the day.
Favourite place to go shopping: I hate shopping. When I HAVE to it's a quick nip into GAP Piccadilly Circus and Top Man Oxford Circus . In and out. 3 times a year…
Favourite show you’ve seen in London: Joseph. I like Joseph...OK? Shut up...
Tell us a little known fact about this glorious city of ours: There's 2 rats for every one person. I've called mine Clare and Steve.
Time to get personal...
What makes you laugh? Margherita Taylor's face when I offer to lend her Zoo or Nuts. No one flares nostrils quite like MT.
What's the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? Always clear Google history.
How would your best friend describe you in three words? Very high maintenance.
Which bit of your body do you like the least? Legs...pale, puny. In shorts I look like a Bash St Kid.
Why didn't you ask me about... The secret I know about Lynda Bellingham… The OXO Mum!!!
What were you like at school? Shorter and spottier.
I'm most proud of... honestly? My job at Capital. I sit overlooking Leicester Square and still can’t believe I’m here sometimes.
We’re buying, what will you have? A jukebox. One you put an iPod in...they’ve got them in Harrods. Hurry…
Worst job I ever had: warm up comic for Britain’s Brainiest Teacher... terrible show, took around 6 hours to film and had Carol Vorderman blaming ME for the audience looking bored!
From my wardrobe you can have… My Red Suit. I thought it looked cool until I was walking through Soho and heard someone say "Is it red nose day?"
If you're getting a takeaway I’ll have: American Hot Pizza – Pizza Express.
Facebook is... the reason it’s taken me about 4 months to get round to answering these questions.
The first thing I do when I get out of the Capital Studio is... check the boss isn’t waiting for me.
