Terms and Conditions for the Competition - Your Year Sorted

1.     The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Charities ("Global Charities") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.makesomenoise.com/terms-conditions/ ) apply to the ‘Global’s Make Some Noise Text Competitions’ ("the Competition") which will run from 6am 30^th Jan 2017 – Mon 6^th Feb 2017 at 7.45am  (“the Duration”).

2.     The "Radio Station" advertising the competition is Capital North West & North Wales and Capital Cymru. Please note additional prizes might be added as the competition goes on across the week it’s running.

3.     Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from Global Charities.

Details of the Competition:

4.     To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the word  to SORTED 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rate. If you text after the closing time you will not be entered but may still be charged. The Text Message Line will open at 6am 30^th Jan 2017 and close at 7.45am 6^th Feb 2017 (the “Closing Time”).

5.   After entering the Competition, participants will receive a bounceback text message informing them that a voluntary donation to Global’s Make Some Noise (registered charity 1091657 (England & Wales) & SC041475 (Scotland)) of £3 will be taken automatically an hour (60 minutes) after the time the first text was received, unless they reply with the word STOP.  The £3 donation will be taken from the mobile phone used to enter the Competition and 100% of the donation will go to Global’s Make Some Noise.

6.   For the avoidance of doubt, you do not need to donate in order to be eligible for entry to the competition.  Anyone who replies STOP to the first bounce back message and thereby opts out of donating £3 to Global’s Make Some Noise will still be included in the prize draw.

7.   After the competition closes at 7.45am, a random draw will take place of all eligible entries received between the Opening Time and the Closing Time to determine the winner.  All winners will be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air.  If the entrant fails to answer their phone, are driving, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during these calls and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another contestant will be selected at random.  The producer’s decision is final.

8.   You must be over 18 to enter the Competition.

9.  You can enter up to 10 times, however you must text STOP after each entry to opt out of donating £3 to Global’s Make Some Noise.

• Farmageddon Scare Attraction – You and 3 mates can be scared silly when the attraction returns later this year – you’ll be there on opening night.

• 1 pair of Gold Access camping tickets for Creamfields, including a great spot in a luxury campsite and access to the hospitality arena.

• 4 tickets to see ‘The British Music Experience’ exhibition in Liverpool. 

• Escapism, Chester – You & 4 mates will need to try & escape the ‘Taken’ room with just 1 hour to solve the clues.

• 12 passes to Cineworld Broughton – watch some of the biggest films of 2017 for free!

• Hair-Café, Watergate Street, Chester – 2 ladies cut & finishes.

• Karting experience for 2 people at GYG Karting, Conwy, Cerrigydrudion

• Shark dive (for 1 person) thanks to Blue Planet Aquarium.

• Tickets for you and a mate to watch, plus meet & greet ‘The Vamps’ (gig takes place 5^th May at Liverpool’s Echo Arena)

12.  No substitute prizes or cash alternatives are available.

British Music Experience.

This prize is for 4 people, no cash alternatives will be given. Dates & times subject to availability. BME experience will open in March 2017.

Farmaggedon

No travel or accommodation, just tickets for the night but the winner can choose from 4 selected dates to attend.

Tickets valid for 4 people, winner can attend on opening night (30^th Sep) or the 6^th, 7 or 8^th Oct – winner must let Capital Liverpool know in advance what night they will attend.

Winners details will be passed onto Farmaggedon once a date has been picked (the winner will need to do this ASAP).

WWE® Live - Europe Tour, Echo Arena.

1 pair of WWE® Live Liverpool tickets at the Echo Arena for Sunday 7^th May. Plus 1 meet & greet for the 2 winners with a WWE® Superstar who will be at the event!

Creamfields 2017

Prize is just a space, winner must bring festival essentials (tent) to be erected. Winners will have a spot in the luxury campsite, with hospitality to the hospitality arena, with limited complimentary food each day. No drink (soft drinks or alcohol) is included at all.

Blue Planet – Shark Dive

Shark Dive for one person in our Caribbean reef tank for half an hour dive with our sharks.

The 1 winner will get: 

• Full instruction prior to the dive.
• Close-up shark encounters guaranteed.
• Full use of our SCUBA equipment
• “I Dived with the Sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium” Certificate.
• Free Entry for 2 spectators to watch the winner during the dive.

Dive sessions available on Friday, Saturday & Sunday at 2.15pm or 4.15pm where availability allows.  Bookings can be made a maximum of 6 weeks in advance. Booking must be made to claim the prize. Health questionnaire must be completed before dive, you may be unable to do it if you have certain health conditions.

X-Factor Live Tour 2017 (26th Feb

WWE® Tour Tickets, including a WWE® Superstar Meet & Greet for the winner plus a friend (7th May)

British Style Collective:

2 standard tickets for the British Style Collective, from the Clothes Show giving access to the best fashion stages/attractions over the 7^th – 9^th July 2017.

Tickets will be sent out closer to the event. ID might be required to collect. No transport, accommodation or food/drink or spending money is included

Piccolino Restaurant, Chester

Dinner for you & 4 friends, prize will be 3 courses from the lunch or early evening menu, with a bottle of prosecco.

Prize only to be used at Piccolino Chester, meal must be booked (winner will be advised how by Capital FM). A Club Individual Card will be loaded with credit to be traded (to the cost of the prosecco/5 people. Any additional costs will be paid for via the winner.

Overnight Stay – Seiont Manor.

Stay to be taken before 30^th April 2017.

Stay is valid for 2 guests between end of competition and 30^th April 2017, excludes Valentine weekends, Half term holiday & Easter Holiday. Winner must contact hotel to book, details given by Capital FM.

One guest must be over 18. No Alcohol included. 

Bar Lounge – Chester, Cocktail Masterclass

Become a mixologist with 3 mates for 1 evening. Must be claimed by June 30^th 2017.

Winners must be over the age of 18.

Enchanted Hair & Beauty Salon

4 sets of gel nails to be won, no extras (for example nail art/diamantes included)

Prize does not include acrylics.

Must be claimed within 12 months of winning,

Salon has the right to test or refuse treatment due to any possible allergic reaction.

Win 4 seasonal bouquets, must be claimed by Dec 31^st 2017. Prize can’t be put together, 1 bouquet per season (Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn).

Conwy Brewery, Colwyn Bay.

Become a Brewer for 1 day with a mate, shadow a trained staff member how to brew, with take home gifts included & a small lunch will be provided.

Winners must be over 18. Booking required in advance (details to be given via Capital FM).

The Vamps – Tickets & Meet & Greet

One winner will win a meet & greet for you & a mate backstage ahead of the gig in Liverpool. One winner must be over the age of 18, venue could change ahead of the gig in May.

Meet & greet passes will need to be collected from the box office on the night of the gig, passes are non-transferable. Winner will also get 2 standard tickets for the gig to watch The Vamps that evening. Details of the meet & greet will be given to the winner by Capital FM Programming.

AGE RESTRICTIONS 

At least one member of the group must be over the age of 18 for any hotel stays won.

Some prizes might not suitable for children under the age of 12.

Alcohol only available for guests over 18. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Severe dietary requirements may lead to changes to certain prizes, please advise selected hotels of any requirements on booking.

The prizes are for a fixed number of guests (as detailed in the above Ts & Cs).

Availability may/is likely to be limited during school holidays, public holidays and at weekends. Details given upon booking.

- The content of all the prizes listed may be subject to change and/or substituted with a prize of equal or greater value.

- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to change the date and substitute with another date.

- We require winner name, contact number, postal address & email to facilitate the prize.

- Due to the nature of prize donations, please be aware that it can take several weeks to confirm dates.

- Not for resale, not transferable, there is no cash alternative. This is a charity auction and as such no refunds are given.
