Darren Rathband, the twin brother of PC David Rathband who was shot and blinded by gunman Raoul Moat, has spoken to Capital.

The 44 year old who's originally from Stafford but now lives in Australia, came straight over to the UK when he heard that his brother had taken his own life.

David Rathband was found hanging at his home in Blyth in Northumberland last Wednesday night (February 29th)

Darren, along with David Rathband's wife Kath and their children Ash and Mia, have arranged for a memorial service to take place in Newcastle at St Nicholas Cathedral on Saturday 10th March at 12pm, which is open for anyone to go along and pay their respects.

David Rathband will be buried a week later in his home town of Stafford.

Darren Rathband's spoken to Capital's reporter Anna Harding a week on from PC Rathband's death
