Arrest Over Newcastle Rape

A man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 23-year-old woman in the Spital Tongues area of Newcastle.
The victim was attacked in the early hours of Saturday (16th of Feb)
After the rape, the woman got a taxi to a hotel in Dean Street before going to hospital where she told staff what had happened.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested and bailed by Northumbria Police
