Jet2.com On Board with Capital, On Air Competition

RULES

1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘On Board with Capital’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Friday 24th October on Capital Manchester. 

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the Competition:

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the keyword given out on air to the text number given out on air. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

4. All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation will be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

5. An entrant will be selected at random and brought to air. The entrant will be told that they have secured a holiday for themself but could potentially be taking three friends with them. In order to take three friends, the caller must answer three questions correctly. For every question they get wrong, they have to decide who they will not be taking as each wrong answer means one less space on the holiday. If the entrant answers all three questions correctly then they will win the holiday for four people (including themselves).  If the entrant answers just two questions correctly they will win a holiday for three people (including themselves).  If the entrant answers just one question correctly they will win a holiday for two people (including themselves).  If the entrant fails to answer a single question correctly, they will win a holiday for one person (themselves).

Eligibility:

The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man who are aged 18 years or over, but excluding (1) employees and officers of Jet2holidays Limited, Jet2.com Limited, Fowler Welch-Coolchain Limited and Dart Group PLC (and their immediate families), (2) employees and officers of the promoter, its agents, associates, printers (and their immediate families) and (3) anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Only one prize is permitted across the individual stations participating in this promotion; multiple entries are not permitted. Entrants’ guests must also be at least 18 years of age.

7. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prize:

8. There will be one winner who will receive 7 nights in Ayia Napa, Cyprus based on up to four adults sharing a self catering 3 star one bedroom apartment at the Anthea Hotel Apartmentswith Jet2holidays.

9. The prize holiday must be taken between 1st- 31st May 2015  or between 1st - 31st October 2015 and it is subject to Jet2.com’s black out dates which can be found at www.jet2.com/promotions.

10. The prize includes return flights from Manchester Airport to Larnaca International Airport. This prize also includes 1 free item of checked baggage per person (weight restrictions apply) and airport transfers to/from the hotel.

11. All optional flight/board/accommodation supplements and insurance are extra and must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party

12. The winner will also receive £150 in the form of a cheque from Global Radio.

13. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.

Additional Terms and Conditions

• All prizes are subject to individual terms & conditions for destination, hotel, board basis, accommodation type, number of persons permitted and departure airport. The details of each prize holiday will be made available separately.

• Full terms and conditions will be confirmed by Jet2holidays in a letter confirming the prize including the date the prize must be claimed and taken by.

• The duration of the prize holiday may not be extended and any additional passengers booked will be charged at normal rates.

• All prizes must be redeemed by 19th December 2014 and taken by 31st October 2015. Each prize is subject to its own validity dates. Please note that different destinations have different flying schedules so certain months may not be available.

• Whilst Jet2holidays will take into consideration and will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate any dates requested by the winner at the time they redeem their prize holiday, please note that all dates are subject to flight and hotel availability and may not be taken during peak times such as bank holidays and school holidays.

• Jet2holidays reserves the right to offer an alternative property/destination at anytime, to the equivalent prize value, insofar as it is permitted under its Terms and Conditions and the relevant law.

• Changes to names, travel dates & accommodation are subject to the standard change fee plus any differences in cost as outlined in Jet2holidays’ Terms and Conditions.

• In accordance with Jet2holidays Terms and Conditions, holidays may be changed or cancelled by Jet2holidays insofar as such changes or cancellations are permitted under its Terms and Conditions and the relevant law. Jet2holidays shall ensure that they will give as much prior notice as possible to the winner and the winner will be made aware of his or her rights under its Terms and Conditions. Any changes or cancellations will be notified by email or telephone.

• Jet2holidays' competition prizes may not be exchanged for cash and may only be taken by the competition winner, who must be over 18 years old and travel along with any accompanying passenger(s) notified to Jet2holidays in the relevant booking who must also by over 18 years old, subject to the maximum number of passengers specified within the prize details. One prize per household.

• Winners with special needs such as a requirement for wheelchair assistance will need to notify Jet2holidays as appropriate at the time they redeem the prize.

• It is recommended that all winners and their guests take out their own insurance as this is not included in the prize.

• British Citizens must have a full 10 year passport to travel and are generally required to have 6 months remaining on it after the scheduled date of return. If the winner or any member of the travelling party is not a British or EU citizen or holds a non British/EU passport, the winner must check passport and visa requirements with the relevant Embassy or Consulate of the country(ies) to or through which the winner are intending to travel.

• Jet2holidays may in its absolute discretion without notice change these terms and conditions in the event of circumstances arising which are beyond its reasonable control.

• The prize is provided by Jet2holidays Limited, a company registered in England under No 4472486, having its registered office at Low Fare Finder House, Leeds Bradford Airport, Yeadon, Leeds, LS19 7TU.
