Detective Chief Inspector Pete Marsh, from the Major Incident Team, said: ``We are in the early stages of the investigation and are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

``I would like to reassure residents that detectives are determined to find out what happened and I would urge anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious at the time of the incident to contact us.''
