Boy In Hospital After Wythenshawe Crash

A six-year-old boy is in hospital after being knocked off his bike in Wythenshawe.

The boy was hit by a Vauxhall Zafira on Greatfield Road, at about 7.35pm last night, Friday 5th July.

The boy suffered a serious head injury in the collision and was taken to Manchester Childerns’ Hospital where he remains in a serious, but stable condition.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
