Terms & Conditions for See Britney in Las Vegas Competition, Capital East Midlands, JulyAugust 2014
RULES
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/ ) apply to ‘Dino and Pete Britney in Vegas Giveaway’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 28th July – 1st August 2014 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital FM East Midlands.
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
3.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must Listen to Capital FM East Midlands each weekday between 7am and 9am. The presenter will play a loop of Britney Spears known as “The Britney Alarm” on-air. Entrants must text in the next time they hear the Britney Alarm by played on-air. There will be previews of what this sounds like in on air trails and by presenters and these will clearly be sign-posted as ‘examples’ of what the alarm sounds like. They do not count as a cue to call.
3.2 Send a text message with the keyword 'VEGAS' and their name to 83958. Texts will be charged at network provider’s standard message rate.
Mechanic
4.1 Once the text lines have closed, two entrants will be selected at random from all entries and called back on the mobile number from which they entered. A call will be recorded with both entrants.
4.2 The entrant who was drawn by our system first will get to decide whether to ‘play or pass’ and play the game or allow the other caller to do so.
4.3 The chosen entrant will be played five short clips of songs. For each clip, the entrant needs to decide if it is a clip from a Britney song or from a song by a different artist by answering “Britney” or “Not Britney”. For each of the five clips they answer correctly they win a point. If they answer incorrectly the other non-playing entrant receives the point.
4.4 The first contestant to receive three (3) points will be the Competition Round winner and win a meal for two at Marco Pierre White’s restaurant at Alea Casino and will gain a place in the draw on Friday for the main prize of a trip to Vegas to see Britney Spears in concert.
4.5 All entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If entrants fail to answer their phone or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during these calls and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another contestant will be selected at random.
Eligibility:
5.1 Entrants must be aged 21 years or over.
5.2 You can enter each individual Competition Round once duplicate entries will not be counted.
5.3 Competition Round winners are excluded from entering other Competition Rounds. For the avoidance of doubt, a Competition Round winner may only win one Competition Round and will be disqualified from winning any subsequent Competition Rounds.
5.4 Entrants must have a valid passport and not be excluded from travel to the US.
5.5 Entrants must be able to travel on Thursday August 28th 2014 and return on Tuesday September 2nd 2014.
Prize:
6.1 In each Competition Round, the prize will be a meal for two at Marco Pierre White’s restaurant at Alea Casino in Nottingham and entry in to the main prize draw.
6.2 Meals can be booked on any day until 30th November 2014. Meal to be selected from the Alea All In Menu, which includes a glass of sparkling wine. Over 21s only. Winners of the competition must book their table in advance.
6.2 The Main Prize consists of:
- 1 pair of Golden Circle tickets for 30th August to see Britney Spears at Planet Hollywood Resort including meet and greet.
- A five night stay at the Planet Hollywood Resort from 28th August 2014 to 1st September 2014. A customer relation’s host will be assigned to the winner at the casino to look after them throughout their visit. £500 spending money via our Total rewards loyalty programme. This money can be spent in any Caesars property in Vegas to get food and drinks.
- Return economy flights with British Airways for two to Las Vegas departing on 28th August 2014 from Heathrow Airport and departing 1st September 2014 from Las Vegas (arriving in the UK on 2nd September 2014).
- Airport transfers in the US and UK.
- ESTA fees for two people and Travel Insurance.
6.3 Winner and friend must be available to travel on Thursday 28th August 2014 and return on Tuesday 2nd September 2014. Non UK passports holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy at their own expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges. Both people must be over the age of 21 years.
6.4 Hotel is based on two people sharing a twin or double room with en-suite facilities on a room only basis.
6.5 For all US trips, UK Passport holders must hold a valid ESTA (electronic tourist visa) from the US Embassy, which can be applied for a minimum of 72 hours prior to travel. Anyone not holding an ESTA will be deported from the US upon arrival without exception. It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with the ESTA visa requirements of the United States of America. Approval is at the discretion of the US Embassy and NDL Group cannot be held responsible for this being rejected.
6.6 Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply.
6.7 The prize is non-transferrable and no cash alternative is available.
6.8 Global Radio reserves the right to change the prize or any part of it at any time.
