Guard Threatened With Baseball Bat

Police are trying to find a man who threatened a security guard with a baseball bat while he was delivering money to a shop in Nottingham.

It happened around 11.20am on Friday (18 Feb) at the Tesco store in Oakdale Road, Sneinton.

The man with the bat ran off to a small silver car parked in Swains Avenue, which was then driven, by a second suspect, into Oakdale Road, heading away from the city.

The security guard wasn't hurt.

  • in his early 20s
  • slim to medium build
  • 5ft 4" to 5ft 5" tall.
  • dark eyebrows
  • wore a dark coloured baseball cap
  • the lower part of his face was also covered
