Derby Poppy Artist 'Shocked'

The Derby uni graduate who designed the ceramic poppies at the Tower of London has told Capital he's shocked by how much attention they've had.
Paul Cummins started his work at a studio in Pride Park, the last poppy was laid earlier to mark Armistice Day.
The artist also told Capital he doesn't think, like some critics, the art needed to be violent to represent war.
The 888,246 ceramic flowers represent the number of deaths in the First World War.
Derby Uni 'Proud'
The University of Derby's Vice Chancellor has told Capital the ceramic poppies have become one of the most famous art installations of all time and they're all very proud of Paul's art.
Professor John Coyne, Vice-Chancellor:
'We are immensely proud of Paul's success. It's incredible to think this world-wide phenomenon began at Paul's studio right here in Pride Park, Derby.
'This has become one of the most famous art installations of all time, and I know from visiting and 'planting' some poppies myself it really is breathtaking.'
