Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon 2009

Thank you to all our amazing runners who took part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon in aid of Help a London Child!

Over 500 people of all ages and abilities, including Capital Drivetime presenter Greg Burns and celebrities Jeremy Edwards and Antony Costa ran 13.1 miles for Help a London Child.

  1. I ran the half marathon yesterday and it was fantastic. I loved it. the whole thing was really well organized. Looking forward to next year. And i got my time target of 2 hours. The support from everyone cheering along the route really helped,thanks for that. i ran for help a london child and hope all the money raised for all the charities is a help. thanks capital. xxxx

  2. Hi to all who took part in the half marathon today. I watched the start and then went to the half-way point by the Serpentine. Had a great few hours cheering the thousands of runners that went past.

  6. Never took part in any type of marathon before. Am currently in training to get generally fitter and would be a great target to aim for. Plus the event takes place on my birthday and would be nice to do something for a ggod cause on that day!

  10. Hi I am looking for someone to train with in the Raynes Park / Wimbledon area, I havnt ran for a few years and so a little unfit :). Hope some like minded people will be training in our area. Post a reply if your interested.
