King of Shaves – To Baldy Go
King of Shaves ran a promotion in summer 2008 on 95.8 Capital FM to launch the new Azor Razor. To supplement their advertising they worked with Help a London Child to organise one of the ‘baldest’ fundraising challenges ever. Breakfast show DJ Johnny Vaughan challenged listeners to get their heads shaved for charity. If 100 people signed up King of Shaves would donate £10,000 to Help a London Child and one lucky participant would win a trip to Mauritius. ‘To Baldy Go’ culminated in an Outside Broadcast of breakfast show at Canary Wharf: heads were shaved, over £30,000 was raised in total and King of Shaves enjoyed the most unique experiential marketing opportunity securing local and national PR coverage and hugely increased traffic for their website. www.kingofshaves.com

Help a London Child has secured celebrities and hosts of London Restaurant Week’s launch events and 95.8 Capital FM has promoted the event online and on-air to its 1.7 million listeners. London Restaurant Week 2009 has provided a powerful platform for promoting Lastminute.com’s recent re-brand and provided a pivotal campaign around which to focus commercial on-air campaigns. www.lastminute.com
