Together we’re helping 200,000 children and young people across the UK

Pandora Make Some Noise

We are thrilled to announce that since our launch in August 2014, Global’s Make Some Noise is already improving the lives of 200,000 disadvantaged children and young people from across the UK.

These 200,000 youngsters will benefit from our current grant allocations for 2014/15 – which have totalled a staggering £812,857.

The money has been awarded to over 100 children’s and young people’s charities from all across the UK – projects which support youngsters who may have been affected by illness, disability, bereavement or lack of opportunity. Click here for a full list of charities we have supported.

These specially selected projects have been showing their appreciation for their Global’s Make Some Noise grants, which have been awarded this week.

Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Co-Founder of Teens Unite Fighting Cancer said: “We feel extremely fortunate to be a beneficiary of Global’s Make Some Noise. The funding we have been awarded will enable us to run three motivational and confidence building workshops for 30 young people fighting cancer. These workshops help to provide these teenagers and young adults with a fuller life whilst battling their illness,in a similar situation and gain strength from realising they are not alone in their journey.”

Rachel, one of the teens from Teens Unite Fighting Cancer (pictured third from the left) said: “All of these opportunities are an absolute blessing to have some ‘normality’, and give me something to look forward to and aim for when I’m struggling or look back on and smile when times are tough. The Teens Unite family and the days I have with these amazing people have given me memories I will always treasure.”

We would like to thank each and every one of you for this tremendous achievement; from our corporate partners, to our marathon runners and trekkers, to our presenters and stations, and to anyone who has donated for making this possible – we truly have Made Some Noise to change young lives!
