Ex in the City on Capital FM Birmingham, January 2018


RULES

1.     The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘Ex in the City January 2018 radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Wednesday 10th January 2018 to Wednesday 31st January 2018 on Capital Birmingham (the “Radio Station”).

2.     Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition

3.     To enter the competition an entrant must send a text message with the word CITY & their name to 83958. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.  The opening and closing times of the text message line will be given out on air.
4.    

  • All entries from all competition days will be collected into a 'pool' and a contestant will be randomly selected and called back. 

  • To be eligible, the entrant must then provide contact numbers for an ex partner to take part in the competition. 

  • The contestant and their ex will then go through a phonecall audition process to determine their suitability; this will be based on enthusiasm, suitability for on air and entertainment value. If successful, they will play on-air against their ex partner for the prize. If unsuccessful, another contestant will be selected at random. 

  • The presenter will ask the contestant a question - if they answer it correctly, they win the prize. If they answer it incorrectly, their ex partner will win the prize


Eligibility

5.     Contestants must be 18 and over to be eligible for the competition. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

  • A Revolution Cocktail Masterclass experience for two

  • A Candle lit Three Course Dining for two with cocktails

  • A Luxury VIP night out package for two, accompanied with a Bottle our Handcrafted Vodka Flavour on Ice

  • A Romantic candle lit deserts and bubbly package for two

  • Drinks for two at Revolution, accompanied with a Bottle of Prosecco on ice, a choice of Sharing Cocktail’s, one of Six Shot Stick of Flavours and tasty nibbles.


Electric Cinema (Birmingham):

  • 4x "Sofa for Two with a bottle of Prosecco" 

  • One private hire screening (worth £500)


Resorts World (Birmingham)

  • 5x VIP overnight stay packages at the Genting Hotel at Resorts World. Includes a double room for one night, bed & breakfast and a meal and drinks for two people up to the value of £100
