Frank Ocean Cancels All European Tour Dates With No Explanation

13 August 2012, 15:14

The Odd Future star fails to explain why he is unable to play shows, which include support slots with Coldplay.

Frank Ocean has cancelled all of his upcoming European tour dates.

The 'Channel Orange' rapper was due to make a host of appearances across the continent in the coming weeks, including a UK festival date this weekend.

But Ocean has not pulled those shows, which would also have since him play nine support dates on Coldplay's European tour.

"Let me start by saying I feel like an a**hole right now, but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months," Ocean wrote in a message on his website.

"The casualties of that decision include my appearance at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot on the European leg of the Coldplay world tour. Sorry as f**k, I'll be back if you'll have me."

Last week, Ocean finished his performance at Oya Festival early with voice problems, organisers said.
