The 'Channel Orange' singer picked up the award in person at the O2 Arena at this year's BRITs ceremony.

Frank Ocean was named International Male Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards 2013 this evening (20th February) live from London's O2 Arena.

The 'Pyramids' singer was there in person at the prestigious awards ceremony to pick up his trophy, which he was handed by presenters Jourdan Dunn and actor Rafe Spall.

Frank made his way up to the stage in a floral print shirt and black leather jacket, after beating huge names like Bruce Springsteen, Jack White, Michael Buble and Gotye to pick up the gong.

"Well hello!" Frank said in his acceptance speech. "Before this year I didn't get many trophies in my life, and I'm definitely a long way from working fast food in New Orleans so thank you for this!

"And thanks to Damien Hirst for the polka dots, thank you!" the R&B star added.
