Man Arrested Over Missing West Yorkshire Mum

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a West Yorkshire mother of two who has been missing for nine years.

Lisa Ambler was 34 when she was last seen in Halifax in August 2003. She was sleeping rough with her boyfriend at the time of her disappearance.

Police said the 38-year-old man was arrested in Halifax on Friday morning and was in custody.

The arrest comes a day after forensic searches of railway arches and a canal basin took place in the town.
