Arrest Over Naming of Rape Victim

A man’s been arrested on suspicion of naming the young woman raped by a former Sheffield United footballer, on Twitter.

23 year old Ched Evans was jailed for five years for attacking the 19 year old in a hotel room in North Wales last May.

A 51 year old man from Essex is the seventeenth person to be arrested in connection with a police investigation into the victim being identified on social media sites.

Following an interview, he was released on bail until October.
