3 Arrests After North Yorkshire Shooting

3 people have been arrested in Scarbrough after a 36 year old was shot on Saturday.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at an address in New Queen Street along with a 51-year-old man who was detained on suspicion of assisting an offender. 

Earlier a 26-year-old woman was arrested on Seamer Road on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. 

The 36-year-old man who was injured at a house in the Eastfield area on Saturday remains in hospital where he is recovering after surgery to repair a gunshot wound to his leg. His condition is described as improving. 

North Yorkshire Police were called at around 5.30pm on Saturday 21 April 2012, after reports of a disturbance at an address in High Garth in the Eastfield area.
