10 Arrests After M1 Death Smash

Ten people have been arrested after a multi-vehicle smash on the M1 at junction 38.

The crash happened on the north-bound side at the end of rush-hour.

Police say 4 vehicles were involved and a driver and passenger were trapped. The passenger was taken by helicopter to Leeds General Infirmary but later died. He was from Sheffield.

The motorway was closed northbound all night.
