The Tati Westbrook and James Charles video drama has already spawned some of the funniest memes.

The tension between YouTube beauty influencers James Charles and Tati Westbrook reached a boiling point on May 10, when Westbrook uploaded a video airing her issues with her fellow social media star. In a 43 minute video entitled "Bye Sister", Tati clarified the nature of her relationship with James and addressed some of the known (and unknown) controversies surrounding the young beauty guru.


What did James Charles do to Tati Westbrook according to the "Bye Sister" video?

The current rift between the pair has stemmed mainly from James Charles endorsing Sugar Bear Hair at Coachella. Tati Westbrook owns a competing vitamin brand called Halo. In the Bye Sister video, Tati explained that, because she helped James early on in his career, she did not expect him to endorse her competitor.

In the Bye Sister video, Tati also went into detail about some of his behaviour that she did not approve of, including allegations about James Charles contacting straight men in a "not okay" way.

Tati said she was especially hurt because she had stayed loyal to James Charles even after a controversy where he joked about getting Ebola on a trip to Africa.
