Trump mocks Biden for 'always wearing a mask' during first major debate
Donald Trump has tested positive for COVID-19 after calling it a "hoax" in multiple interviews.
Donald Trump has announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus and, naturally, the internet is reacting with memes.
Taking to Twitter (Oct 2), Trump tweeted that both he and his wife, Melania Trump, have just been diagnosed with COVID-19. The president tweeted: "Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!" Melania also confirmed the news in a tweet of her own.

Unsurprisingly, people are shocked by the news and they are taking to Twitter to let their followers know what they think.
While it goes without saying that coronavirus is no laughing matter, people are pointing out the unbelievable irony that Trump has now tested positive for a virus that he's repeatedly called a "hoax". Even as recently as Tuesday night's presidential debate, Trump mocked Biden for wearing masks, as doctors advise, and he denounced the seriousness of coronavirus.
Reacting to Trump's diagnosis, one person tweeted: "HOW YOU TEST POSITIVE FOR A HOAX??!" Another added: "I just tested negative for sympathy." Cardi B even plugged her new BLACKPINK collaboration 'Bet You Wanna' with the simple but effective tweet: "BET YOU WANNA” wear a mask now".
