Woman's Body Found In North Yorkshire

A woman's body has been found by a member of the public in a field in Monk Fryston.

Police were called to the scene at 3.20pm on Saturday and spent several hours at the scene.

The body was found in a field close to the A63 and a railway track.

Police are treating the death as unexplained and say it is too early to confirm whether or not there are any suspicious circumstances.
