Woman's Body Found In Leeds

Police have launched a murder investigation after a woman's body was found in Osmondthorpe in Leeds.

Officers found the body of a 43-year-old woman at a house on Osmondthorpe Lane just after midnight on Monday.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics

A 39-year-old man has now has now been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

The investigation is being led by West Yorkshire Police's Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
