Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery on Friday at an address on Burnwells off Thackley Road in Bradford.
Between 1:20pm and 1:40pm three men wearing balaclavas entered the property and threatened a 46 year old female occupant with an axe and what's thought to be a stun gun.
Her hands were bound during the incident in which a substantial amount of cash was taken.
The men then fled the scene in the victim's silver Range Rover which was later found abandoned on Falkland Road in Ravenscliffe, Bradford.
All the men were wearing dark clothing, one of which is described as having a blackened left eye.
Detective Sergeant Ryan Bragg of Airedale and North Bradford CID said:
"This was a terrifying ordeal for a lone woman to suffer in her own home. Thankfully she is uninjured but extremely shocked by what occurred.  I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Burnwells and Thackley Road area prior to this incident.  I would also urge anyone to come forward who saw the silver Range Rover being abandoned on Falkland Road or who has any other information that would assist our enquiries".
